Internet banking request approval through ATM: On selecting this option, you will have to go to any nearest ATM machine of SBI to complete the mobile number update, change process, a reference number will come on your registered mobile number, submit it to the ATM machine Is.


Approval through contact center: On selecting this option, a call will be received from SBI on your registered mobile number to complete the mobile number update process, in which information related to your account will be asked, keep in mind that you will also have to mention your reference number, call It may take 1 to 4 days to arrive.

Step 1: First of all go to https://www.onlinesbi.com/ then login using username and password.


Step 2: Now click on Profile, then click on Personal Details/Mobile.


Step 3: Now type your profile password and click on submit button.


Step 4: Now you will get the option to change/update mobile number as shown in the screenshot, you have to click on Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM/Contact Centre).


Step 5: Now a new page will open enter your mobile number in it, to confirm enter the same mobile number again in the box below then click on submit button.


Step 6: Now you will get By OTP on Both Mobile number, Internet banking request approval through ATM and Approval through contact center 3 option as I told you above, in this you have to tick the By OTP on Both Mobile number and click on Submit


Step 7: In the next page you have to enter your ATM card details, Enter your ATM card number, Enter expiry date, Enter the ATM PIN which you use while withdrawing money Enter the name of the cardholder name in which the bank account is then box After typing the number you see in it, click on Process below.


Step 8: Now to complete the mobile number registered process, an SMS will come on both your new number and your old number which will have Activate and Reference number. Activate number will be different in both mobiles, you will have to sms from both mobile numbers in this way ACTIVATE <> ACTIVATE Number <> Reference Number then send it to 567676.

Internet banking request approval through ATM

This method will be useful to you when your old mobile number is lost and stolen, then you can add new mobile number without old mobile number.

First of all log in to your SBI account,

Then click on Personal Detail in Profile option,

Then enter profile password and click on submit.

Then you will get the option to change mobile number, click on Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM/Contact Center),

After that enter your new mobile number, re-enter the same mobile number then click submit.

After coming here, you have to do Internet Banking request approval through ATM tickmark on Submit.

After that enter your ATM details and click on submit button.

Then the reference number will come on the mobile number you have entered, it has to be submitted on the ATM machine, so go to the ATM machine to complete the mobile number registered process,

  • Go to any nearest ATM of SBI,
  • Insert your ATM card
  • Then select Service option,
  • After that enter your PIN,
  • Now you need Internet Banking Request Approval

Now you have to type the reference number which has come on the mobile then do OK, just after following this process correctly the SBI mobile number gets changed.
